Product introduction:
This data booklet deals with Grundfos CR, CRI and CRN pumps.

  • CR, CRI and CRN pumps are vertical multistage, centrifugal pumps. The in-line design of the pumps enables installation in a horizontal one-pipe system where the suction and discharge ports are in the same horizontal level and have the same pipe dimensions.

  • This design provides a more compact pump design and pipework. CR pumps are available in various sizes and various numbers of stages to deliver the flow and pressure required.

  • CR pumps are designed for a variety of applications ranging from the pumping of potable water to the pumping of chemicals. The pumps are therefore suitable for a wide diversity of pumping systems where the performance and material of the pump meet specific demands.

A CR pump consists of two main components:

  • The motor and the pump unit.

  • The motor is a Grundfos motor designed to EN standards.

  • The pump unit consists of optimised hydraulics, various types of connections, a sleeve, a pump head and various other parts.

  • CR pumps are available in various material versions according to the pumped liquid.

Hydro MPC

Applications:
Grundfos Hydro MPC booster systems are designed for the transfer and pressure boosting of clean water in places such as:

  • waterworks

  • blocks of flats

  • hotels

  • industry

  • hospitals

  • schools

As standard, Hydro MPC booster systems consist of two to six identical CR, CRI, CRE or CRIE pumps connected in parallel and mounted on a common base frame provided with a control cabinet and all the necessary fittings.
Most of the booster systems are available with either CR, CRI pumps and/or CRE, CRIE pumps.
The pumps of the booster system can be removed without interfering with the pipe work on either side of the manifolds. Hydro MPC booster systems are available in three control variants.

Hydro MPC-E
Booster systems with two to six identical electronically speed-controlled pumps. Pipework connection from R 2 to DN 350.
From 0.37 to 22 kW, Hydro MPC-E is fitted with CRE, CRIE pumps with integrated frequency converter.
As from 30 kW, Hydro MPC-E is fitted with CR pumps connected to Grundfos CUE frequency converters (one per pump).

Hydro MPC-F
Booster systems with two to six identical CR, CRI pumps connected to one Grundfos CUE frequency converter.
The speed-controlled operation alternates between the pumps of the booster system.
Pipework connection from R 2 to DN 350 and motor sizes from 0.55 to 55 kW.

Hydro MPC-S
Booster systems with two to six identical mains-operated CR, CRI pumps.
Pipework connection from R 2 to DN 350 and motor sizes from 0.37 to 55 kW.

TP

Introduction:
TP pumps are designed for applications such as:

  • District heating systems

  • Heating systems

  • Air-conditioning systems

  • District cooling systems

  • Water supply

  • Industrial processes

  • Industrial cooling

The pumps are available with either mains-operated motors (TP and TPD) or electronically speed-controlled motors (TPE, TPED, TPE2, TPE2 D, TPE3, TPE3 D).

The pumps are all single-stage, in-line centrifugal pumps with mechanical shaft seal. The pumps are of the close-coupled type, i.e. pump and motor are separate units.

TP, mains-operated pumps:

  • The TP range is divided into the following four groups based on their construction: TP Series 100, 200, 300 and 400.


TP Series 100 with union or flange connection

  • Rp 1 (DN 25) to Rp 1 1/4 (DN 32) and motor sizes from 0.12 to 0.25 kW.


TP Series 200 with flange connection

  • DN 32 to DN 100 and motor sizes from 0.12 to 2.2 kW.


TP Series 300 with flange connection

  • We offer two TP Series 300 versions:

  • 16-bar version with DN 32 to DN 200 flanges and motor sizes from 0.25 to 132 kW

  • 25-bar version with DN 125 to DN 200 flanges and motor sizes from 7.5 to 132 kW.


TP Series 400 with flange connection

  • We offer two TP Series 400 versions:

  • 10-bar version with DN 250 flange and motor sizes from 45 to 75 kW.

  • 25-bar version with DN 100, 250, 300 and 400 flanges and motor sizes from 5.5 to 630 kW.

UPS

Applications:

  • The Grundfos Series 100 circulator pumps are specifically designed for heating systems. 

  • The pumps are also suitable for circulation of domestic hot water and for circulation of liquid in cooling and air-conditioning systems.

Heating systems:

  • For central and district heating systems, use pump type UPS.

  • The UPS can be operated at three different speeds.

  • The pumps are used primarily for one- and two-pipe heating systems, but are, for example, also suitable for mixing loops in large systems.

For underfloor heating systems, we recommend using pump type UP(S) N, as the pumped liquid may often become aerated, causing an ordinary cast-iron pump housing to corrode.
